Boat Launch to the Schuylkill River

Located at the end of Gay Street, the launch provides access for boats, kayaks, and fishing along the Schuylkill River. $1.3M in state and county grants have been awarded to the Borough for future improvements to the launch itself, additional parking, lighting and a pavilion.

Brown Street Park

This recreation area has an all-abilities play area, basketball courts, and a gazebo. Community Day, the annual Easter Egg Hunt, summer concerts, and our Trunk-or-Treat are held at Brown Street Park. The Spring City Community Pool is also located at this site.

Riverfront Park

Hidden between the Schuylkill River and the Schuylkill River Trail is Spring City’s Riverfront Park. The park can be accessed by foot from Bridge Street, or via the SR Trail, and is a great fishing spot.

The Schuylkill River Trail

The Spring City extension of the trail can be accessed from a designated parking area/trail head located off Gay Street. This segment of the trail is owned and maintained by Chester County. This trail runs along the Schuylkill River from Philadelphia past Schuylkill Haven. For a map of the entire Schuylkill River Trail click here.
