BROWN STREET PARK IMPROVEMENTS
The basketball court, playground and ADA accessibility improvements at Brown Street Park are complete and available for use by the community. Thank you for your patience during the months-long construction activity. Funding for the project was through grants from Chester County, PaDCNR and PaDCED.
GAY STREET BOAT LAUNCH
The Borough applied for $1.1M in grants through PaDCED, PaDCNR, PA Fish and Game Commission and Chester County for improvements to the Spring City boat launch. The project will include parking for vehicles with boat trailers, enhanced pedestrian connectivity and ADA accessibility, as well as a small picnic pavilion, picnic tables near the riverbank, lighting, and security cameras. A project timeline cannot be established until we receive notification of funding.
