Liberty Fire Company - Then and Now

The Liberty Steam Fire Engine Company #1 is a 100% volunteer organization that provides service to Spring City Borough and portions of East Vincent and East Pikeland Townships. Incorporated April 24, 1882, the fire company has provided fire and rescue service to the community for over 125 years. Located near the corner of Main and Hall Streets in Spring City Borough, the company currently uses three pieces of fire apparatuses along with one fire police vehicle and a rescue boat.

Volunteering Opportunities

The Liberty Fire Company is looking for volunteers as we protect the residents of the Borough of Spring City and East Vincent Township. Many jobs are available such as Firefighter, Fire Police or Firefighter Support Group. We are also looking for Apparatus Drivers  (paid training provided). Crew nights are Monday nights starting 6:30 pm. We invite you to stop by our station any Monday night and look around and talk to crew members about volunteering options.
