CHESTER COUNTY HAZARDOUS WASTE

SPRING CITY ARBOR DAY
Easter Egg Hunt
The first ever Spring City Arbor Day Celebration will be held Saturday, April 25, 10am to 1pm at the Spring City Library. The event will include the planting of the new Spring City Christmas Tree, a sapling giveaway, Arbor Day Story Time and other Arbor Day features.


NEW MEETING TIMES

Monthly Borough Council meetings will now begin at 7:00 starting January, 2015. Police committee meetings will now start at 6:30.

Borough Council meets the first Monday of the month and the Police Committee meets the third Thursday of the month.

CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING

The Spring City Parks and Recreation Committee would to thank the Spring City Hotel, Coventry Property Services, Spring City Streets Department and Spring City Police Department for their collective assitance  with the Christmas Tree Lighting.


CHESTER COUNTY HAZARDOUS WASTE AND E-WASTE PICKUP

SPRING CITY WASTEWATER TREATMENT BULLETIN
Working with the Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC) and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP), the Borough has found trace amount of PCB's in its wastewater treatment plant discharge water (effluent). This is not an uncommon occurrence in wastewater, but noteworthy and, as such, the Borough is obligated to find its source within the Borough and work towards minimizing or eliminating it.
